Later that year, I had the unexpected blessing of winning funding from a local radio station, allowing me to scale my woman owned business and reach even more people with these sweet, southern delights.

But Marie’s Pecan Candy is more than just a business—it’s a name with deep meaning. The name "Marie" came to me after an encounter with God. It wasn’t just any name; it was the name of my biological mother, whom I never had the chance to meet. In that moment, I knew God was giving me a way to honor her, even in her absence. This brand is built on faith, love, and the belief that something beautiful can come from every story—even the ones with missing pieces.
